Terms & Conditions and the Participant Liability Waiver
A. GENERAL TERMS AND CONDITIONS
CYCLE GARAGE PTY – SPORTS EVENTS

Welcome to www.cyclegaragepty.com (hereinafter referred to as “the Platform”), owned and operated by Cycle Garage PTY.
By accessing, registering, or purchasing entries for any of our sporting events, you agree to the following Terms and Conditions.
1. ORGANIZER
The events promoted and organized by Cycle Garage PTY include, but are not limited to:
- ROYAL TRIATHLON
- GFCC – Gran Fondo Cerro de la Cruz
- Other related sporting, recreational, and competitive events.
Cycle Garage PTY reserves the right to modify event dates, routes, categories, regulations, and any logistical aspect of its events whenever necessary.
2. ACCEPTANCE OF TERMS
By using the Platform or registering for an event, the user declares that they:
- Are of legal age or have authorization from a legal guardian;
- Have read and accepted these Terms and Conditions;
- Understand the inherent risks involved in sports participation.
3. REGISTRATION AND ENTRIES
To participate in an event:
- Users must complete the registration form accurately and truthfully;
- All information provided must be current and correct;
- Registration will only be considered valid once payment confirmation has been received.
Cycle Garage PTY reserves the right to reject or cancel registrations containing false, incomplete, or suspicious information.
4. PAYMENTS
The Platform accepts payments through:
- Visa
- Mastercard
- Yappy
All payments are securely processed through third-party payment platforms.
Cycle Garage PTY does not store confidential credit or debit card information.
5. REFUND POLICY
All registrations and payments are final and non-refundable unless otherwise determined by the organizer under exceptional circumstances.
In the event of cancellation due to force majeure, extreme weather conditions, safety concerns, government regulations, or other causes beyond the organizer’s control, Cycle Garage PTY may:
- Reschedule the event;
- Transfer the registration to another edition;
- Or provide partial or full credits for future events.
No refunds will be issued for:
- Injuries;
- Illness;
- Personal reasons;
- Schedule conflicts;
- Failure to attend.
6. ENTRY TRANSFERS
Transfers of registrations between participants may only be allowed within the period authorized by the organization and may be subject to administrative fees.
No changes will be allowed after the established deadline.
7. PARTICIPANT RESPONSIBILITY
Each participant acknowledges that they:
- Are physically fit to participate;
- Participate at their own risk;
- Assume all risks associated with outdoor sporting activities.
Cycle Garage PTY shall not be held responsible for:
- Accidents;
- Injuries;
- Lost items;
- Personal or material damages;
- Situations arising from failure to comply with event regulations.
8. EVENT RULES AND REGULATIONS
All participants must comply with:
- Official event rules;
- Instructions provided by event staff;
- Traffic and safety regulations;
- Orders issued by competent authorities.
Failure to comply may result in:
- Penalties;
- Disqualification;
- Removal from the event without refund.
9. IMAGE RIGHTS
By participating in the events, participants authorize Cycle Garage PTY to use photographs, videos, and audiovisual materials captured during the event for promotional, advertising, and commercial purposes without additional compensation.
10. INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY
All Platform content, including:
- logos,
- designs,
- photographs,
- event names,
- texts,
- audiovisual materials,
is the property of Cycle Garage PTY and may not be used without prior written authorization.
11. PLATFORM AVAILABILITY
Cycle Garage PTY does not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation of the Platform.
The organization may perform maintenance, updates, or modifications without prior notice.
12. PRIVACY AND PERSONAL DATA
Information provided by users will be used exclusively for:
- registration management,
- event logistics,
- official communications,
- promotions related to Cycle Garage PTY.
Cycle Garage PTY is committed to protecting personal data in accordance with applicable laws of the Republic of Panama.
13. MODIFICATIONS
Cycle Garage PTY reserves the right to update these Terms and Conditions at any time.
Changes shall become effective once published on the Platform.
14. GOVERNING LAW
These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of the Republic of Panama.
Any dispute shall be resolved before the competent courts of Panama.

B. PARTICIPANT WAIVER AND RELEASE OF LIABILITY
By completing my registration and participating in the event, I declare and agree that:
- My registration and/or entry to the event is personal and non-transferable unless expressly authorized by the organizers.
- In the event of installment payments, if the total payment is not completed before the established deadline, no refunds will be issued. However, upon request, the participant may receive a voucher equivalent to the amount paid, redeemable for future events organized by Cycle Garage PTY.
- In the event of cancellation due to force majeure or “Acts of God” (including extreme weather conditions, natural disasters, civil disturbances, pandemics, or other circumstances beyond the organizers’ control), I understand and accept that my registration fee is non-refundable and non-transferable.
- I declare that I am physically, medically, and mentally fit to participate in the event, considering the environmental, physical, and sporting demands involved.
- I confirm that I have received appropriate medical advice regarding any pre-existing medical conditions and that it is medically safe for me to participate.
- I acknowledge and accept that participation in sporting events involves inherent risks, including accidents, serious injury, permanent disability, or death, and I voluntarily assume all such risks.
- I understand that situations may arise during the event that are beyond the immediate control of the organizers, volunteers, sponsors, or event personnel.
- I agree to participate responsibly and safely, without endangering myself or others.
- To the fullest extent permitted by law, I agree that the event organizers, sponsors, partners, volunteers, and any persons directly or indirectly related to the organization shall not be held liable for any damages, injuries, losses, accidents, theft, or any harm suffered before, during, or after the event.
- I expressly authorize the use of my name, image, voice, photographs, and audiovisual material captured during the event for promotional, advertising, and commercial purposes related to Cycle Garage PTY and its events, without additional compensation.
- I agree to comply with all rules, regulations, and safety instructions issued by the organizers and competent authorities before, during, and after the event.
- I authorize emergency medical treatment in the event of accident, injury, or illness during my participation in the event.
- On behalf of myself, my heirs, family members, and legal representatives, I waive and release any judicial, administrative, or extrajudicial claims against the organizers, sponsors, volunteers, and persons related to the event arising from my participation, except where prohibited by applicable law.
TERMS & CONDITIONS
RELEASE OF RESPONSIBILITY
I declare that:
- My ticket accepted at the Event will not be transferred to another participant.
- In case of paying in installments, if at the time of the deadline to compete the payments have not been completed, there will be NO refunds, but at the request of the participant a coupon will be sent for the amount of the subscription, which can be used in future events.
- In the event that the conditions of the "act of God" cause a cancellation of the Event, I agree that my total entry fee is non-transferable and non-refundable.
- I am in an adequate physical condition to participate in the Event, given the known parameters of the Event (such as duration, time, physical demands, and environmental context).
- I received medical advice regarding any pre-existing medical conditions and confirmed that it is medically safe for me to participate in the Event.
- I acknowledge that there are risks involved in the Event. I am fully aware of the dangers of participating in the Event and fully assume the risks associated with my participation and my well-being and safety during and after the Event
- I understand and agree that situations may arise during the Event, which may be beyond the immediate control of the Event organizers (including all event officials and volunteers).
- I will participate in the Event in a way that does not endanger myself or others.
- I agree that, to the fullest extent permitted by law, the Event organizers (including all event officials and volunteers), sponsors, and other parties connected with the Event, are not liable to me for any direct or indirect loss (including, but not limited to, injury or death) suffered by me during or in any way related to my participation in the Event.
- I authorize the use of my name, voice, photo, and information on this entry form in any broadcast, television broadcast, promotion, advertising, and otherwise, without payment to me or any other form of compensation.
- I agree to abide by the rules and regulations related to the Event.
- I agree to follow all reasonable safety instructions provided to me by the event organizers (including all event officials and volunteers) before, during, and after the event.
- I consent to receive medical treatment in the event of illness or injury sustained during or immediately following the Event.
- I also waive in my personal capacity, any third party, or any person acting on my behalf any legal claim or claim against the event organizers, its sponsors, its volunteers, or any person directly or indirectly involved in the event of death, physical injury, falls, blows, personal differences, or any other circumstance or unforeseen event that I suffer or that occurs before, during or after my participation in the event, although this liability may arise due to negligence of the persons named in this statement, as well as any loss, theft or theft that may be suffered.
